JenEdeJen Ede, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief

Jen Ede is a native Milwaukeean, newly returned to her home city after a decade away. Jen is a lover of all things cured, a pickle fiend, and has always been interested in learning about other cultures – most often through the lens of food. She devours books like she devours food, with a voracious hunger to try something new. Most recently, she worked as Development and Marketing Associate at Chefs Collaborative, a national non-profit network of chefs and restaurants, working to build a more sustainable food system. 


Joe Laedtke, Art Director

Joe Laedtke has been a life-long food enthusiast, starting when he was still a kid growing up in Washington Heights, watching his grandma Shirley intently as she taught him her secret recipes for onion dip, turkey gravy, and rouladen, and even through college as he delivered pizzas throughout the greater Ripon area in a 1978 AMC Pacer. These days, he proudly represents the unique combination of freelance photographer and licensed funeral director, and has garnered national attention with his website, Eating Milwaukee, including a segment on CBS This Morning. He has absolutely no willpower whatsoever around essentially any Asian cuisine.

NickBraggNick Bragg, Web Editor

Nick Bragg is a Milwaukee-born multimedia journalist, editor, and web and social media specialist. Intrigued by local food production, Nick and his wife, Kimberly Kowalczyk, are the creators of Farm to Table Wisconsin, a website showcasing small-scale family farms in Wisconsin. When not toiling in his backyard garden, Nick can be seen getting walked around Milwaukee’s Burnham Park neighborhood by his three dogs, Brewer, Sutter and Griffen.

Rebecca Ratterman is a Marquette University senior from Louisville, Kentucky who is studying Writing Intensive English and Business while interning for Edible Milwaukee. She is a coffee fiend and loves all of the local food that Milwaukee has to offer (caffeinated or not). She loves to travel, talk to strangers, eat, and spend time with loved ones. Last year Rebecca studied abroad in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark and still craves the local bread, rugbrød, every day.
