Some might say brothers Daniel and David Neumann are on a diplomatic mission—to bring guests a personal tasting experience with every pour-over.
Located at 1560 N. Water St., Alderaan Coffee joins the ranks of Milwaukee’s newest spots to get caffeinated in style. The café is a multiroaster, serving coffee from Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company, Kickapoo Coffee Roasters, and Brooklyn Roasting Company, with a goal to introduce their customers to beans from all around the world.
From fresh-pressed almond milk to French lavender, caramel, and Madagascar vanilla syrups, the duo takes a hands-on approach on their third project (the Neumanns have two shops already flourishing in New York City). In addition to the ingredients, the tables are also made by hand, as well as the countertops and signs in the shop.
Do visit… there is no try. Alderaan Coffee is open Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on weekends.
